Goldsim water balance models can be developed, reviewed or updated to represent pits, dams, catchments, transfers, treatment, controlled releases and operational rules. The focus is not simply the model itself, but the decisions it needs to support and the assumptions that materially influence those decisions.
FWS can also connect mine water balance work with Water Management Plans, EA amendments, Progressive Rehabilitation and Closure Plans (PRCPs), flood modelling, mine rehabilitation, closure drainage and landform evolution modelling (LEM). This provides a more defensible pathway between regulatory commitments, current site conditions and future closure outcomes.
