What FWS Can Help With.
Work can include surface-water and groundwater monitoring, soils, vegetation, land condition, ground cover, rehabilitation performance, thermal investigation and environmental compliance evidence. Programs can be targeted to a single issue or established as repeat monitoring that remains comparable over time.
UAV LiDAR, multispectral capture, photography and repeat drone videography can extend field observations across larger areas. Thermal and nocturnal drone fauna surveys support targeted assessments for koala, greater glider, bettong, echidna, pest animals and livestock, including work on environmental offsets. Analysis can focus on erosion, vegetation structure, mine rehabilitation and environmental recovery trajectories, uncertainty and where additional field verification is most valuable.
